A pair of SFP transceiver modules which enable a single fibre to carry both the transmit and receive elements of a connection. This is achieved by using two light streams of different wave-length (colour) to carry the two signals. They are supplied as matched pairs. These devices offer an instant solution where insufficient fibre cores are available in an inherited installation because existing pairs can be 'doubled-up'.
