Assynia® Tight Buffered Internal External Cable contains fibres with Tetracoat® protection (tight buffering), non-metallic aramid strength members (incorporating a moisture protection system) and a flame retardant LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath. Particularly suitable for short links in a low fibre count distribution network, including risers and lift shafts. Available in designs up to 24 fibres with each of the fibres colour coded for identification.

  • Fibre protection will permit direct connection to terminal equipment.

SPL - Steel Polymer Laminate Armoured Cable

This single tube design contains non-metallic aramid strength members (incorporating a moisture protection system), a longitudinally-applied corrugated Steel Polymer Laminate (SPL) and flame retardant LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheaths, making it particularly suitable for resistance against rodent attack and high crush loads. Available in designs up to 24-fibres with each of the fibres colour coded for identification.

Duplex ‘Zipcord’ - DFC (Double Fibre Cable)

The cable is a ruggedised two-fibre design with individual Single Fibre Cable (SFC) elements joined together by a web. Each SFC contains a fibre with Tetracoat® protection (tight buffering), a layer of non-metallic aramid strength members and a flame retardant LSOH sheath. The web can be easily separated for fitting connectors and a rib is provided along one unit for identification. Ideal for patch cords and also for horizontal, vertical or equipment interconnect wiring.
